Clearance Items
« on: April 07, 2009, 10:27:32 PM »
I was on the Arc site last night and noticed they had a lot of Clearance Items, fortunatley for me they where items I was after, most seem to be half price and as I had bought some recently and found them ok getting them half price or less was to much to pass up, so I have a year or so's supply of small abrasives etc, might just go mad againand get some for 2012 as well, the good thing about them is I decided as I was in a spend mood to buy a rotary table so telephoned at about 11am to add to order, it had already been dispatched, now isent that better than some of the recent experiances I have had, just waited 7 weeks for some strip wood and had to phone 5 times each time it was going that day, so it is nice to have a good experiance. it's all down to the shipping company. Oh Great :bang:

Peter,

That is the one thing that keeps taking me back to Arc, over and over again.

I have NEVER had bad service from them. Whichever method they can use so it gets to you in the cheapest and shortest possible time. They have really got that side of their business nailed.

Spread over the past 2 months, I`ve had 4 separate deliveries from Arc.

The longest took 26 hours!

Nuff sed......

David.

Still drilling holes... Sometimes, in the right place!

Still modifying bits of metal... Occasionally, making an improvement!

Chronos use speedy freight:-  I've been waiting three months for an item from them if its not here next week I'm going to tell them to put it where the sun don't shine.

They are a bit slow answering emails too.....
