Hello
« on: January 05, 2015, 09:03:23 AM »
Hello just to introduce myself, I'm coming up to retirement plasterer by trade(I'm glad thats over).
Well I've always been interested in machining so I bought myself an old Myford ML10 which needs a bit of work and a small chinese lathe I'm using at the moment. The Myford is working but all the Feed/Leadscrews are worn and need replacing so no thread work is possible on it at the moment. I hope to buy a mill in the future but only a dream at the moment. I came accross this site through youtube so I hope to pick your brains and learn all the tricks from you. Rob
The more I practice the luckier I get.

Rob,  hi.

Welcome.  We seem to spend more time fixing or modifying our machines than actually making things with them,  so you will be in good company.

Dave.
