Here we are just over a month in with the 3D printed bed wiper.

It seems to be holding up fine, no hot steel bits embedded in it, the porous nature of the PLA print has taken up oil and the bed keeps its meniscus of oil.  Some of the really fine stuff gets stuck to the front lip, but no more than I have seen on the felt wiper.  I will keep using this one and print another if I damage/wear it, but with the designed in adjustment should give it a long life.
Just get doing and make swarf, you can decide what its going to be later.

I had a chance to look at Joules lathe bed wiper when I visited his shop,  it dose fit the bed very well and without wiping all the oil from the bed
