Metalworking Videos, new.
« on: November 30, 2016, 03:47:11 PM »
I have recently been adding metal working videos to YouTube to backup articles on my website.  For a very small number of forums I have posted a thread for each one as I made it public.  However, with over 30 forum having links to my website it has been quite impossible to do this for every individual forum.

I am therefore adding a thread to this, and other forums, which just explains their existence and how to find them. I may though come back to the thread and add to it should it be appropriate.

Presently, there are 16 videos made public and another 10 finished which I will add at the rate of about 1 a week. Should any reader like to be notified as each one is issued then go to my correspondence page at http://www.homews.co.uk/page6.html       and ask to be added to my mailing list.

To see a list of already available videos go to this page on my website where they are listed,  http://www.homews.co.uk/page617a.html  I do update the list as each new one is made available.

Thanks Will for pointing that out.

If you look closely the h at the beginning is not underlined making the address incomplete, lets have another attempt.

The address for the videos so far published is http://www.homews.co.uk/page617a.html  This being updated each time I add a new video to the web

Thanks for posting the link to your videos. They complement your excellent books nicely . You probably don't have time to accommodate requests but if you can, a video (or a series of videos) on how to best set up your simple or advanced grinding rests and sequence of operations for common tasks would be very helpful.

Thanks nrml for your comments about my videos and books. I am also pleased to tell you that I have already finished 6 videos relating to my grinding rests. These I will be making public early next year after I finish the few that I still have on individual subjects.

The grinding rest videos will start with an introduction to the rests followed by Sharpening, lathe knife tools, lathe boring tools, slitting saws, end mills (end cutting edges only) and four facet drill sharpening with hopefully more to follow.
