Banned Saw

(1/3) > >>

Joules:
Busy weekend or it was till I came to use the band saw and the crap wheels folded and put my back out

This has been a job on the to do list for more time than I care to remember.

The plan was to cut a tubular frame and weld it up, but as I had neither tube or time a temporary   fix had to be done.  I now have it on castors and sooooo much easier to move around, plus I also have more storage under the saw.

Then back to other job.  Ok, OK it got me out of cutting the grass... :palm:

At least I could sit and watch the shaper work for the rest of the day  :med: and rest my back, shame I didn't have any medical beer on hand.

Brass_Machine:
Hi Joules,

I had that flimsy frame do almost the same thing. I ended up buying a 3 shelf roller cart. I flipped the top shelf when I assembled it and mounted the saw to that.

I used one of these:

Will try to get a picture of it later today.

John Rudd:
Is that a Harbor Freight 'coupon' deal Eric?

Great idea turning the top turtle to get some more workspace...

Joules:
Nice Eric, but nothing like that in our very Grizzly Machine Mart   :(

Will keep an eye open for a suitable trolley.
