Dividing plates for a HV6
« on: June 11, 2017, 12:34:53 AM »
Hello,
I've been looking at these plates which are advertised on eBay and Amazon but despite numerous requests to the vendor and the manufacturer I cannot get an answear to some very basic questions to whit:
What is the diameter?
What is the hole count?
This is such simple and basic information that I would have thought even an American could understand what was being asked. Apparently not.
Has anyone any knowledge about them? I think I'll just make what I need but would like to know the hole count.

Not quite sure why you're looking at a US site for these ?

RDG tools have them and they give the available hole counts and the OD as 100mm.

I have a set of genuine Vertex plates for my HV6 and those numbers seem right.

I have 3 plates, not 2.  Dunno why that US site has just 2 ??

OR, probably more to the point ....

Biggles/Bluechip - I think GoFish may be looking at that supplier as it may be nearer/cheaper to the Antipodes than buying from UK....

But the O/P is in New Zealand so USA or UK are probably both equally valid sources

Pet forum hate with me is the software that let's you join but never asks or publishes your location. OK. Understand the need for privacy but UK is still a big place even when compared to Oz and the USA

I very rarely reply to the "Where can I buy"? Requests if there is no location in the details or sig  line

John - just to say in defence of the Original Poster - he does have his location in his profile, which is how Andrew Mawson & I knew he was a Kiwi.

Possibly I don't know. I never read profiles, only the published blurb on the poster who is the only one in this post with it not displayed.

Not actually getting at the OP. More the forum software that allows it to not display automatically
