My CNC/PC controller Enclosure

(1/1)

msimpson:
I designed and built a while back for the DC engineering fair.

vtsteam:
Well, nice aesthetic job of design. A good teaching tool.

In my shop, though it would look like hell a year later, even if I avoided placing it under the router, as would have  been my preference. Metal, swarf, sawdust, plastic static, coolant, WD-40 would quickly diminish the art gallery look. I also like the RF shielding afforded by a metal case. But certainly an admirably executed project.

Brass_Machine:
I can see the PC case modding influences in your work! Cool and interesting!

msimpson:
I have been hunting for some pics of various PC cases I have built with the CNC.

I will post them as I find them.

This is one I did about 8 years ago.  It is a home theater PC.  It (at the time) was connected to my projector and sound system.  It only had a single button under the unit near the front to turn it on and off.  Every thing else was done with Bluetooth and remotes.

Brass_Machine:
Very nice looking case!

Eric
