wooden puzzle boxes
« on: November 21, 2010, 02:17:22 PM »
Here are a few puzzle boxes I have made using plans from  http://homepage.ntlworld.com/bruce.viney/index.html

The first one is "up n down"
the black one with the stickers is a larger version of the "modified matchbox" made from thiner wood and scaled up to give a more useable space inside
and the one with the jigsaw pattern is also a "modified matchbox" and was the first one I made

Erm...  :jaw:  Cool.... I'd be well lost without the destructions!

Too many projects, so little time!

Not to mention me and the brown stuff don't get on too well on occasion.... Maybe an ali or a brass version?    :loco:

Jason.
They look great!

Just, don't bring 'em near me.... I hate clever puzzles, with the grinning owner laughing at me!  :bang:

Nicely done!

Still drilling holes... Sometimes, in the right place!

Still modifying bits of metal... Occasionally, making an improvement!

I am tempted to to try building the cube one out of aluminium
That's the simplest one just four sliding sides most of the others would be to complex
For me to machine.
