thats pretty neat, I assume though you have done a little machining on the bore and piston though?
Turns out this life c**p is just one big distraction from death but a good one. For the love of god dont give yourself time to think.

It's not mine, Shipto. Just a vid which was mentioned on another forum. I don't want to get involved with 3D printers; the 2D one attached to my computer gives me enough trouble.   

I've no idea how accurate Repraps and similar devices are, but like you I suspect that some machining comes into it. And on a plastic engine, friction and the heat it creates must be a problem.

Ah sorry thought you had made it.
I looked into the reprap a while back and from what i saw the finish would not be good enough to simply fit a piston into a bore in fact looking at that video again I see some sharp edges on most of the bits which I kinda doubt could have been JUST printed.
Turns out this life c**p is just one big distraction from death but a good one. For the love of god dont give yourself time to think.
