Wayne Kerr
« on: March 03, 2012, 03:48:08 PM »
If you'd told me yesterday that there was a brand of equipment out there called "Wayne Kerr", I'd have laughed at you.

However, today I discover it's TRUE - there IS a brand called Wayne Kerr.

They must feel (like) plonkers.
Cheers!

Many years ago I had to try to use one of their component bridges. Gave up and went for a user friendly make.

Reminds me of a chap who bumped his floating gin palace into our yacht, wearing his "I've got a boat and I'm wearing this blazer and cap with an anchor on the front to prove it". Didn't take kindly to my suggestion that he should stitch a W on his hat, just in front of the anchor.

I've cut the end off it twice, but it's still too short

Wayne Kerr were a very well respected brand of electronic test equipment. If you've been familliar with it all your professional life like me any salacious like sounding subriquets are lost on you !
