Super little lathe

This is a long video of a really neat watch makers lathe. There are some great features that could be adapted to the mini lathe. I especially like the compound lock. Any ideas how it works? Anyone done a similar mod to there lathe?

A most fascinating excursion into 'Lilliput' machining. The lathe itself is a work of art.
