A bit pricey,methinks?
« on: December 17, 2012, 07:45:09 AM »
I was looking for an angle plate on fleabay and found this.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RDGTOOLS-4-1-2-TEE-SLOTED-ANGLE-PLATE-FOR-MYFORD-LATHE-/370475170487?pt=UK_Home_Garden_PowerTools_SM&hash=item56420a7ab7

no wonder they could afford to buy all Myford stuff if this is any indication of their prices.

Roy
I used to be confused, now I just don't know.

I know of one dealer who, when out of stock, amends his Ebay price to a silly figure, rather than withdrawing the listing and then re-listing from scratch when new stock arrives. Maybe that's what RDG are doing here; the item doesn't seem to be listed on their web pages at present.

I've cut the end off it twice, but it's still too short

Noticed they do this quite a bit - have an item listed at 10x or more the normal price. I thought it was just for the off chance someone was willing to pay without looking properly.
