Thanks for the responses.

I tried using Chrome, but it was the same.

Maybe it is time to bite the bullet and go back to Linux.

Windows is just an endless series of updates.

I do like XP as it seems to be virtually solid. But more and more updates of things won't work on it. Java being the latest.

Dave.

It's odd Dave - I'm sure a lot of us are using Windows in various flavours satisfactorily  (Though I admit to avoiding Win 10 like the plague).

There must be some setting that's stopping you - perhaps your firewall ?

I really don't understand why people have so many problems with Windows. I updated from 7 to 10 whilst I could still do it for free. I accept updates as they occur. I use Chrome, too, and have had few problems that can't usually be easily resolved. Perhaps it's down to the hardware. My box is 4 or maybe 5 years old and is an HP. Often people have add-ons that they've forgotten about, or are unaware of that impact the whole system.

Well, I'm now running Puppy Linux and the videos are working fine. The only problems I am experiencing (at the moment ; sure to be others coming down the line) re the screen has gone very dim even though the monitor is showing 100% brilliance. Also it is a bit 'clunky', but I can live with that.
My main gripe with windows is the fact that you know they are going to bring out a new version every couple of years and that many of your programs will not work correctly on it.  The best example I can think of was when they moved from FAT to NTFS.

Anyhow, Linux, when used in Command Line mode is very similar to DOS. And i was brought up on DOS (and CP/M).
Time to scrape the rust off my remaining brain cells and get up to speed on Linux.

Yeah, I know...Real techies use Unix.. But hey, give me a break here; I'm trying.

Dave.

I videoed it a little more with a kind of temp coolant tank. Hard to get anything done right now just want to play with it. The number 1 is just sitting there waiting for me to get back to it. Plus the radiator material is laying there waiting for me to get started on it. I think I've run a few tanks of gas though her. I did get some tips on setting the air bleed screw and fuel mix screws which helped a lot so thanks for that! Anyway here is a video from yesterday.

My problem with Windows 10 is legacy software that I still run that is known not to run on Win10

Thanks Biggles but I would have to give it back after this.
Oh crap this really sucks   :palm: :palm:
Things were going good then I wasn't paying attention then it happened. So now I have more mods that I want to do and get it put back together.

Sorry to hear of your challenge, but thanks for taking us along and showing both the good and what the Royal Navy taught me to describe as 'character building' bits!

Thanks Dave hopefully it will help others and show them what happens when you don't pay attention to things.

Doing some mods to the rockers and checking for damage. I pulled the oil pan off too just wanted to make sure I didn't have things going on there also.

Thanks Phil

Just a note I did get things modified and back together last Sunday afternoon. I have a video of it uploading but youtube has been really slow it has been uploading since Sunday night and it just now is at about 85% hope to have something to post this afternoon we will see. I do have a sneak peak video uploaded but has waiting for the main video to finish loading. Mean while I'm back working on number 1 and am trying to sort things out on it.

Here is a short video clip.

It's good when the family take an interest. Eldest boy vaguely knows what I'm doing but the rest of the family have 'glazed eyes'
