Welcome aboard, have fun  :ddb:

Make sure that your conversion isn't going to give you issues at the next MOT with the 'construction and use regulations', they are very prescriptive as to what is and is not allowed as far as vehicle lighting is concerned.

if you need to sort out your canabus you may get a better result on forums more closely related to the car being modded

I do know the canabus on mine is a fibre optic and and remap would need to be done at a low level unless you could simulate the correct load,  but as you are a MOT tester you will know that most rear lamps on a car do not operate at 12 vdc but are pulsed very quickly this saves the manufacture a few pennies on the copper content on the wiring

on mine there is a a canabus device in the boot to sort out the job

LED's are cool, but if you put anything but red on the back of your car, you'll soon be contributing to your local police donut fund. :)

Here, everything in the back is red, except for the back-up lights. The turn signals and running lights on the front are normally orange. I was actually referring to the video, where it looked like the upper lights in the video were white.
