Bit disappointed I missed the first sale. I'm hoping to find an oscilloscope since I saw a fair few last year, but didn't need one at the time.

Thanks.  You are lucky you can have boot sales and buy tools.  Usually things sold out of the trunk of a car where I live are things you shoot with, or mind altering consumables.  Or stolen.

I've been busy lately but i've still found time to get to the boot sales. I'm also skint now after my computer died and I had to replace the thing with the rest of my money.

Got these last week. I was desperate to find a blower last year but didn't find a single one, and of course this year i've already seen about 5. Also more rust to add to my collection.

Got these today. I just beat a guy to them and I think the seller sold them cheap to spite the guy, since he supposedly had gone for a walk to think about the price. I'm not sure if I should feel more or less guilty with that in mind..

I go with less guilty, and call it a win.

I've been looking for one for a while and this is the first i've seen that wasn't rusted solid or missing parts. It does work great for slotted screws but all the ones I use are posidrive. I was thinking of making some kind of adapter for standard hexagonal bits

Ofcause you can make such an adaptor and it's a nice and highly useable idea   maybe I'll make one too - you often have a Little MORE control with a last Little twist with the hand.

BUT using modern electric screw machine to a strait slottes screw is NOT WORKING - but the other way around is OK !

I use my "Stanley drill" only for strait slotted screws and it's working really fine !
