While at the NAMES show this past week end. I had one of those head slapping moments, with the above tool

As you can see it is a mini jewelers saw blade holder for all those broken blades.

What is the advantage of this tool over a conventional jewelers saw holder, most of which will slide to take up a reduced length(broken)  blade?

You don't have to change the length of the holder every time you break a blade. You can just keep the shorter sections for smaller work. It is a very neat, slick idea.
