Jeff,

Just to clarify, is part 18 a shaft with the pinion cut into it, or is it a splined shaft - the drawing resolution isn't quite good enough to tell

Hi Jeff,

No problem.

Before I put it back I thought I'd take a few dimensions.

Put back together the rear oiler was broken drilled it out 1/4" only had 6mm so glued that in , also snaged two high range plates for it , fingers are missing and the nose is 1 1/4" x 12 my chucks are 1 1/2" x 8tpi and the locating blocks need replacing to fit my tee slots , but first will be the direct i8ndexing gear .

Made a pinion for direct indexing it's .75 module 11 teeth blank diameter of 9.98mm , I have a cutter that I made for 30 teeth so used that , the teeth were a litle more pointed but worked smoothly , I have another issue the roof is to low and will have to put a dormer on the shed . to give me the full travel of the colum .
