Another Bandsaw Question
« on: December 07, 2009, 07:42:54 AM »
Hi All,

I'm contemplating buying this Chinese made bandsaw http://www.tooltime.co.za/ProductDetails.aspx?id=496, in the next week or two.

Has anybody got experience of similar kind of saws? Do you think it'll work well in a home shop environment?

Regards.

Fluxcored,

As far as I can see it's close to the Grizzly saw that I have. If you just want to cut metal of the size it states it's great and saves on the arm with a hacksaw. Now looking at the price I couldn't tell you if it's a bargin or not. I've found mine to be very useful for what I want.

Regards.

Bernd,

It's not too badly priced.

Thank you for the advice.
