To keep a table top clean is to challenge the gods themselves.

Can't be done. Accept your fate.

Buy another table.

My secret is to group and align the junk. Put the spray cans and bottles into one area, then arrange the hand tools lined up and parallel to each other, etc. You'll still have all your rubbish piled on the table but people will think it's organized and intentional.

Get a smaller table, then you will have to put stuff away. NO not on the floor! On the other table.    On the other hand, if you set your table on a 45 deg slope there wouldn't be much on it. :smart:    Just remember, two things are certain. 1, Any horizontal surface will collect stuff. 2, Any dropped small item will inevitably  roll under the lowest bench you have. At least in my experience it does!
Converting good metal into swarf sometimes ending up with something useful. ;-)

If the table were as big as the pictures there would be no problem.  :D  :)

I suffered big time with a cluttered work bench so i just got rid of the bench and no more clutter (squeezed in more machines). Mind you since doing that somebody stole my floor and left piles of junk all over where it used to be

Found a way to get wife to clear the table of her mess.............."friend of yours just rang she'll be here in 15mins" One thing woman hate is to allow other woman to see a messy table.

It just requires management and planning.

Before you start cluttering up the table, you lay an old table cloth over it.

Then, when you get to the point you need to clear the table you gather the four corners of the cloth into your hand and pull.

Job done.
