Putting Faces to Names
« on: December 25, 2014, 04:06:20 AM »
The other day I had a visit from Matthew Tinker and his son. He was over in England from Paris for a pre-christmas family visit, and the family is not too far from me.

I'd just like to say how nice it is to be able to put 'faces to names' of other members of the forum. We are spread all over the globe, but when the circumstances are right it is very nice to get together.

Open house here - kettle's always on - Madmodders welcome. So if you are passing just drop me a PM.

Yes, I had the privilege of meeting some of the people at the Harrowgate Exhibition in 2012 and then the MEM members at Cabin Fever in Pennsylvania in April 2014. It makes the forums much more interesting when you known the people.

Yes.
It's good to meet members, who you've only corresponded with.

Already at ease with each other. It feels, at the time, the friendship goes way back........

Hi!

just got back, via "Provins", 100kms south of Paris, lots of cold motorcycling in the rain, a puncture and a missed ferry! I really enjoyed putting a face on a name, can recommend it, seeing the Lister in the "flesh", the EDMs, traub and company!

Thank you Andrew for a pleasant afternoon!

Regards, Matthew
