I have just joined the site. My main interest is in copper work, building garden ornaments and the like. I have also just been given a Flexispeed Meteor 2 lathe and shall venturing down the machining route soon.

Welcome catceefer! I saw your post re. air-propane torch for brazing -- looks like we'll have a lot to talk about -- and I'm sure you'll enjoy your new lathe.  :beer:

I really like lawn ornaments. Esp copper ones... would love to see what you are doing. My Mum in-law has been collecting "spinners" find them fascinating.
