What collet system ??
« on: May 30, 2015, 08:45:54 AM »
I have a holder for some - to me - unknown collet system !

It has a number stamped on it: LAIP 04 0101 0505

I can't find anything on that number on the internet and I have tried a ER32 collet in the holder and it's NOT a ER32 ! :bang: :bang: :bang:

What is it then ?

More details here in danish but you can Google Translate to the right just under the menu line - choose whatever language you like in the combobox:

Try the TG series of collets - possibly a TG100 or TG150

THX for the massive and quick response !

Someone found the exact number !

It's an DIN 6388 = OZ 25 = 462E = ISO 10897

So now I'll try buy 1 or 2 collets to see if it fits !

Thx for your time !

Hello

I Have LAIP 0401010405 It is MT3 holder for DIN6388 collets

There are several OD diameters on this collet system, like ER 25/32 etc.

I have some collets, like these fits, but have differents marrkings

 20 mm collet DIN6388B EOC25B.D20 and marking on collet 20 - 19,5 this has 12 slits

12 mm 6 slit collet (only one diamter, no range) LAIP 020 1051200

OD max dia is 35 mm and length 52 mm

Ofcause I have to stick to the "models" that fit my holder LAIP 04 0101 0505 with "holding"-diameters 2 (or 3) to 25mm

What I'm saying that there are many sizes of these DIN collets

Probably 002 01 05 in LAIP markings.

Here is a caalog you can check in few pages:
www.laip.es/files/Downloads/PINZAS.pdf

I like them, they have an very exact feel and usem them only good mills. No point of chucking worn/bad bits in them.
