Hi
Lads

I did a MOT on this today

It is 1928 vintage

Modified for farm use during the war years

Old even by My standards

Sadly not
It had a track rod end so badly worn you could have pulled it apart
Apart from that it was good
The cable brakes passed with flying colours
It is exempt from most things
It is actually MOT exempt
The owner wanted it testing for peace of mind

Sensible owner, and hopefully not too hard a fix. I was always slightly concerned that my JCB 3CX was MOT exempt yet road registered and extremely heavy and able to do someone a lot of damage. Trouble was it would have been a major exercise to get it to a suitable tester.
