I'm getting 'An error occurred. Please try again.' when I try to go there via my usual route.
I'll try the way you are doing it.

John,

Just went to his profile and clicked on the signature.  Same result.  An error message.

I'll post this then try from the url I copies here.

Thanks for the responses.

Got to admit I don't know what is happeming here.

I usually access DB's YouTube from my bookmarks; same way I have just come here.
I've tried a few other sites with the same familiar white triangle on a red rectangle icon,  and they all work fine.

Any ideas ?

Dave.

Are you running anything like Flashblock or NoScript? Or did you change any security settings in your browser? Have the latest version of Flash?

Is this ocurring only with Doubleboost videos on Youtube, or any video?

Are you accesiing through an embedded link in the forum, or going to youtube's site and accessing through them? Have you tried both ways?

VT,

It's only happening with DB's YouTube.
Nothing has been changed at all and the connection was working fine last night.
I've had John's Youtube page as one of my bookmarks for a very long time with no problem.
Other pages that were added both before and after are also working normally.

I'm going to change machines soon and see if that makes any difference; though I can't see why it would.

Dave.

Stop Press,

Just thought I try again one more time before changing machines.  And it is now working.

I have changed nothing.

Did you check to see if the computer was plugged in? Did you ever watch The IT Crowd? Did you tip your waiter? Do you brush your teeth twice a day? Did you spell doubleboost, troubleboost?

The IT crowd.  Watched every episode. Always tip the waiter 15%. Never brush my teeth at all. (I had them all remover many years ago following damage to them in an accident).

No one has been touching the machine as no one else uses it. My wife,  being younger than me, naturally uses a tablet and wifi.

Anyway, it's all good now. Except the monitor is showing signs of old age. Keeps losing the red.  If you want to see something really unappetising, watch doubleboost's video of the barbecue with the red turned off. Anyone for purple burgers ?

Oh yes, just remembered.
Re the recent troublesome video of the setting of the four jaw chuck.  It took me a while to figure out what John was doing wrong.
Thanks John, for leaving it up. It's good to see that even the more experienced machinists occasionally loss the plot. Re enforces one's faith in humanity.
