John, you need to click the 'Notify' button above the topic, though I seem to remember that if you originate the thread that it defaults to Notify anyway

Thanks Andrew, but Im not receiving emails saying Ive got a message.....
I cant remember whether we do or dont....
And as I started this thread, still no notification that you had responded...

Ive looked in my profile settings, cant see anything relating to this at all...

Maybe Eric can shed some light?

Ive just noticed at the top of this topic an 'unnotify' button.....so as you say, it defaults to notify....

Lets see if theres a further response to this topic and whether I receive a mail....

The PM notification in my email inbox worked fine the other day when Andrew sent me a PM about re-sizing a photo attachment.

I've just sent 2 test PM's,one to John Rudd and one to Andrew Mawson. Let's see if they appear in either recipients email inbox.....OZ.

I sent John Rudd a PM and he received it but no notification.
However I got both notifications when he replied.

Usually in these cases when this happens it's because someone owns Eric some money.........................

Very well could be. Need to open a support case and see if our IP is black listed. It is very common to happen. Even though we are on a separate server (dedicated VM), the IP comes from the hosting company. And who knows what else they are hosting. So it could be blocked.

PM me your ISP name/info. I will see what I can do on this end or at least send you the info you need.
