Hello from Greece
« on: March 14, 2016, 05:32:58 PM »
Long time reader first time poster

So one or two thing about me before we start.
I m a tool junky. SERIOUSLY....
Swedish iron in particular.

I m from Athens Greece, and for the last couple years I had bought and sold a couple dozens of machines, trying to find the utopia.
Restoring old beaten iron, and traveling through Greece and (sometimes) Europe to collect the goodies.
Right now i m on rehab, and doctor said it will be helpful  to admit my addiction and communicate with normal people.
For that reason i signed on the knittinghelp forum.
You guys are something else...
I hope you have enough patience with me...
So great to be here

PS. Some times you have to excuse my English....

Hello and welcome Dominus

... you want to communicate with NORMAL people and you came HERE .... you poor misguided boy

Tell us all about your machines and what you've been doing with them - pictures are good - we like pictures - especially when they are 640 x 480 and uploaded to the forum, so they don't dissappear in years to come

Boy, are you in the wrong place for "normal people!"  I mean, how many "normal people" spend their time taking things apart and rebuilding them?  How many "normal people" will concern themselves with 0.005 mm?

Hopefully, your doctor won't find out about us!

Welcome from the land of OZ Dominus.
I wouldn't worry about your English as in my case at least it has to be way better than my non existent Greek.

Heck, on this forum we sometimes confuse one another with the slight differences between Real English, Australian English, and American English.

So you're a Greek God then? Yeah, I had to check out your forum name - told you my Greek was nonexistent.

Welcome again,

Been in the UK for 16 years now.

Dont worry about the others, you are in the right company...we just need to prove to the world that our normality is the normal people should follow. If trend victims can do it, we can do it better
