In case you missed these hanging near the check out at your local big box (menards) May not be welding temps 500'F but still might last longer than regular ones in the shop.

Use TIPEX, we marked gas turbine blades with it and they can exceed 1000℃

TIPEX is a useful mask to stop silver solder flowing where you don't want it  :thumbup:

Tipex fluid is really useful stuff in the workshop. I use it to put an start index mark on a chainsaw chain link when I'm sharpening the teeth.

A graphite pencil line will also stop silver solder from crossing #2 pencil never heard of tipex fluid will have to keep a look out for it. :nrocks:

Ok now, Now about using white out as a  silver solder stop, marking on wood pen blanks,but never thought about using it as a marking item. Will have to try it. :nrocks:
