Something to ponder
« on: May 10, 2009, 05:38:03 AM »
Gardening Rule: When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

Gardening rules according to Bogs.

Get someone else to do it, then the wife can vent her anger on them.

                            OR

Spray EVERYTHING with weedkiller, then nothing else to worry about.

If I could buy packets of grow your own concrete, I would be first in the queue.

As you have most probably guessed, green sticky up things in the ground ain't my scene. My better half grows things in big pots, so when they die, they are easy to get rid of in the bin, then stick another thing destined to die in the pot. I jest you not, I have stuck silk flowers in pots around my garden, just to give her indoors something nice to look at (as well as me).

Bogs.

Just look what`s happened in my steamshed!  :bugeye:

Happens every year about this time, & all steaming has to adjourn to the garage.....  ::)

I think it`s blummin disgusting!

Still drilling holes... Sometimes, in the right place!

Still modifying bits of metal... Occasionally, making an improvement!

Just buy loads of green paint, and tell the missus to get on with it.

BTW, I thought all houses in your area were white?

After reading the Horrgate thread I now realize why the Britts are such prolific builders, they have no lawns to mow and no driveways to plow in the winter.

 Think I"ll get a smaller place, NOT.

My feelings exactly Glen.

Make humour at every opportunity, and spend your money unwisely.

Try to enjoy every minute you have left, it might be your last.

Now about them begonia thingies, what paint do you use to achieve those colours? Mine always used to end up brown.

In the 60's, people took acid to make the world weird.  Now the world is weird and people take Prozac to make it normal.

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire, but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?
