It's quite interesting to watch,and I viewed a couple of his other videos.

What I can't get my head around though is why he keeps using the tongs to pour by very awkwardly tipping the crucible back towards himself rather than transferring the crucible into a pouring shank to fill the mold.....OZ

True, he seems to have relatively decent safety gear otherwise.

I was more thinking it was a bad practice to demonstrate to others and possibly beginners who might view it as the acceptable method.

Luckygen's (ironman) videos always inspire confidence in how to correctly handle molten metal. He always uses a pouring shank in his vids.....OZ
