I don't believe it!
« on: July 12, 2016, 10:12:54 AM »
I have just spent the last fifteen minutes writing a post saying how frustrated I have been today due to the poor quality drills and hacksaw blades that I have recently bought. I finished my post saying how much better I felt having got it off my chest. As I was about to post it my finger caught on the wrong button on the keyboard and deleted the whole lot. Now I feel worse!!!!! :bang:

I know your pain. Nowadays I tend to select the whole post and copy it to the clipboard whenever i'm writing something big. There's alot of things that can just eat a post like page timing out, accidentally closing the tab/ window, or the browser crashing.

Yes I've been there myself  :bang:

Some forums have an auto save function, I don't know if that is possible with the software this forum runs on - perhaps Eric can comment

I don't want to relive the sorry story, but it was new stuff that blunted on the first use.
But the comments cheered me up.

What brand were they? I have a pack of B&Q hacksaw blades that break to pieces every time I try to cut anything with them. I am now using them as pain stirrers. I didn't expect them to be good, but I thought they would be alright for cutting the odd bit of aluminium or two. Lesson learnt.

LOL. Well spotted.
Unintentional but oddly very appropriate.
