Dam it Rob...

22 individual tool holders I covet that flexibility well done on the score... What gives with the fruity coloured tape ball hanging underneath the megawatt die handle ?

Anthony.
If you cant fix it, get another hobby.

Evening Chaps

Well that's four more wall cabinets built up and fixed to the wall of workshop #2

Things went smoothly for change , as I only had to remove an existing shelf ,no lights ,sockets or air line to move   .So that just leaves two more cabinets  to find a home for .

Cheers Rob

Hi Rob

What are you going to keep in that wasted space in the corner between the cupboards?   :D

You have to have a little space somewhere for a contemplation stool or chair......OZ

any ideas ?

 I should have seen that coming.

Here goes - it has to be something that can be accessed from the bottom or a slim space at the top.  How about rags for wiping up - they could be pulled out through a suitable hole.  Or a kitchen roll - or something similar but larger.  Are there any liquids you use a lot - a tank for something?

I have a smaller space behind shelves created by a pier on the wall and I've got an old fire extinguisher in there as an air receiver.  You could probably get an old gas bottle in your space as an air receiver - with a drain on the bottom.

Could you mount a polypin of (operator) coolant? (only to be used after the end of the working day of course)

Could you stand tall bar-stock in that corner, using the cupboards as a "lean-to" to prevent them from falling over/rolling away? Welding rods maybe?
Cheers!

I think I will just stuff long things up the hole , and let the space develop into a spider farm

Evening Chaps ,

I found a place to mount the last two cabinets today , the location  :palm:

A bit  of prep required ,remove air pipe ,socket and the crap lying about the area .

I had to cut a section  out of one of them as it covers were the power and air comes in from the other shop , also the new three phase supply will come thought there as well .

Still lots to do around the shop  :dremel:

Cheers Rob

Cheers Eric

Still allot to do  I would rather be machining ,but needs must .  My three phase DB arrived today and having no room to store it thought I may as well stick it up on the wall .

The Feng shui meter says it looks good here . :med:

The panel still needs populating  ,I only have the two 16 amp MCB's at the moment one for lathe and other for the new compressor .

I was  planning on doing the wiring over the end of year  holidays ,so that gives me a month to collect the rest of the gear .

I have mounted the panel about 30mm off the wall so I can drop cables down the back .
