Unknown logotype on a vise
« on: October 15, 2016, 09:33:58 AM »
A friend bought an old rusty vise he's fixing right now. There is this logotype on it. Does anybody recognise it?

Don't turn it on, take it apart!

I'm sure after I post this someone's going to chime in with "Hey, that's a ______ vice!", but I thought I'd take a few minutes with Google Images and see if I couldn't pull off a miracle.  No luck.

What I can suggest though, is that you also post some pictures of the entire unit.  That would help greatly with the identification - if there isn't anyone that can recognize it just by the logo.

Yes, of course.
One before-picture, and one of it in pieces all cleaned up with the wire weel.

[edit]
Right. Vice. I guess the US spelling got stuck there for me. Hehe.

Try asking your question on http://www.ukworkshop.co.uk/

They are very good at identifying logos.
