Hi there
« on: October 27, 2016, 10:31:48 AM »
Hello!

I have just recently discovered this forum when I was switching from my grbl powered CNC controller to the DDCSV1.1 that I saw on AliExpress the other day.
Before buying it, I read the posts here and was quite interested in modding the controller and making the most use out of it.
It's sad to see half-assed products from China that have quite a lot of potential. So, being the DIY guy, I just had to do something.

I am mostly interested in Electronics, but I do some photography and programming too. One of my current projects is my CNC build that is based on the Shapeoko 1, but has a lot of custom elements added to it.

HI!

Welcome to the collective :borg:

I am glad to see you jump right in and participate. Would love to see what you have done to your Shapeoko!

Benedikt welcome aboard

My back ground and training is Electronics - well originally Applied Physics, but I find myself mainly tinkering mending mechanical things these days.

Tell us all about your projects - we like pictures

Hi there, Benedikt,

I'll say welcome too.

Please make it a priority to master the procedure to add photos to your posts.   :worthless:

I look forward to reading about your projects, there is a section of this site that is devoted to electronics, programming and what my old boss used to refer to as 'the bits of grit'!!
Best regards,

Pete W.

If you can keep your head when all about you are losing theirs, you haven't seen the latest design change-note!

Hi, good to see you here.

And did someone mention, we really do like pictures.

I also had electronic interests at one time. Now learning C++, just to stop my brain rusting up.
