Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year from a wet Stockholm!

(And give at least a thought for those who work during the holidays.  This is my 2nd Xmas I'm not working at least one of the days in about 20yrs. They do it for us!)

And the same to all from Herefordshire.

We moved down from Darkest Taffland in September with some regrets, but a lot of hope for the future. All my kit, labelled "Project for the Spring"  is currently under tarps in a big tin barn; should be a nice page in the Workshop Progress thread for the new year.

The really good news locally is I've been offered all the cider apples I can collect, gratis and free for nuffink, so a motorised scratter and press are number one jobs after the new workshop is up and running.

Lang may yer collective lums reek,

Eug

Well. a very merry Christmas and happy, healthy New Year from the upside down land down-under.
Can you believe that some of our local government, and indeed federal government twits are removing Christmas from their greeting cards. Holidays and Festive season being substituted instead.Yet, they willingly support 'Ramadan', 'Hanukkah', and religious celebrations of those from other countries and beliefs.
I best quit, griping (cos I was going to go on about schools banning it too) and reinforce the Good will and best wishes to one and all regardless of their country of origin or beliefs.

 Merry Christmas.   :mmr:

With enough of this   lots of this    and this     none of this   :zap:  and not too long to wait for answers to this
Best regards,

Happy Christmas and a Merry New Year to everyone!

It's important, I think, at this time of year, to remember some important facts about alcohol. Most important of all, if someone says to you "Here, hold my pint, and watch this!", then please take one of the following two actions:

1) Immediately whip out your smart phone, and get the video camera ready, because this is SO going on YouTube!
2) Immediately whip out your smart phone, and have 999 (or 911, or 112, adjust according to locality) on speed-dial, because this is SO going to end in A&E. And whilst you're waiting for the inevitable crunch of broken bones and feeble cries for help, you can video the whole thing for YouTube!

I guess what I'm saying is: If a "mate" gets a bit drunk and starts acting up, make sure your smartphone is recording it for YouTube!

 :nrocks:
Cheers!
Ade.

Seasonal greetings for Christmas and New year to one and all on this forum I hope you all have a happy and safe holiday .
BBC Radio 2 the Chris Evans show has a thought of the day (a sky pilot of some denomination) has the ear of the nation.
Earlier this week (cant remember the day) the priest stated in future he will not refer to the songs for Christmas as carols but call them Winter songs nuff said
