Hello from the Midlands
« on: January 08, 2017, 06:36:31 AM »
Hello all, I was told of this site by someone and thought it looked good. I retired from toolmaking three and a half years ago and now spend my free time playing around with old motorcycles. I also get to work on a football clubs groundkeeping equipment as a friend looks after it for them. I have a Bridgeport mill and a 14"x40" lathe plus all the usual stuff.

Good to see you on board Chris.
I'm over at Long Eaton and used to do a lot on vintage bikes but haven't in the last few years.

Might get back into it when I get a new small workshop at the new house.

Thanks for the welcome Sir John, I see you pop up on a few sites. Prewar bikes are my thing, I am not to far from you in between Lichfield and Burton on Trent.
