Just saw this news story and thought it an appropriate little reminder that things can go badly wrong if you are not carefull

Thanks Bill,

Emery cloth used incorrectly on a lathe if you do not know what you are doing is down right dangerous  :bugeye:.

and as for anyone letting anyone loose on a lathe wearing gloves :doh: idiots :wack: idiots  :wack:



I seem to recall a school had a similar incident a few months back where they let a kid use Emery on a lathe, he had wrapped it round his fingers  :bang:
