Hi, just wondered if anyone had heard of or had  any experience with Boost Energy converters?, they have offered me a better deal over Transwave but is it the same old you get what you pay for.

My experience says avoid. Stick to Power Capacitors / Transwave

I probably will go Transwave but are you just paying for the name with some of these things.

I had to repair two Boosts some years ago for friends - the build quality was dreadful - very amateurish

That doesn't sound good, strange to hear though as I priced up another converter today with Transwave and while we chatted I mentioned other suppliers like  Boosted Energy and Converter King. They said the boosted 4kw rotary was probably a better product as its smaller and has the donkey motor inside, they also said Converter King are good and built by two of there ex staff.
Bearing in mind the converter king units are cheaper, same warranty and built by old staff of Transwave I may look into that option.
