What an astonishing piece of work . I am amazed that he made it all using a band saw  :bugeye:. That kid must have the most amazing determination and willpower to be able to complete such a project without a CNC router. As to his creativity; his work says it all .

Hi Norman

What a novel and interesting clock. Do you fancy making one using your own aluminium castings?

The castings would be relatively simple, it is the precision required in the machining that scares me!

Yes an awful lot of hand fettling would be needed I suspect (no dis-respect to your castings Norman, it would be the same for any castings unless they were die cast or lost wax)

Well, you could send a message and ask if you could use the parts as patterns.
