Looking for someone.
« on: September 28, 2020, 04:58:24 PM »
I am worried about someone who lives in Northern California.

He has a general machinist youtube channel. Also a writer. Rents out cabins close to his home/workshop.

Does a lot of welding projects. Made a walnut washing machine.

Lives in the Sacramento area. North of Nevada City.

I haven't visited his channel for a while. But now see that the fires are getting pretty close to the area he lives in.

The problem is, I can't remember his name. Or the name of the channel.

Does anyone here know who I mean ?

Regards,

Dave.

Are you referring to Nik Colyer?

Hi Woodguy,

Yes, that's the fella.

I'll go look him up.

Thanks for that.

His latest video is just a few hours old and shows him relaxed and working outside his workshop surrounded by greenery. He seems to be doing OK.

Yes, I was glad to see he had posted yesterday.  Seems ok.

I like Nik, he is a very down to earth person. Admits to his errors and then goes on to fix them.
