Hi all
« on: June 28, 2009, 02:12:36 PM »
Hi guys...( Are there any women amongst us? )

Thought I'd pop over and join in with the rest and say hello...

I've looked on here in the past and seen some interesting stuff, some of you may already know me from Chester's forum..

I learned about turning and milling when I did my apprenticeship 35 years ago...Since then I've had various hobbies..flying model aircraft...electronics, I try and keep up to date with..So hopefully there must be something I can contribute to..

regards

Hi John,

This is going to get confusing fast. We already have two John's (now that sounds a bit......never mind).

Yes we do. Dragonfly, Brass_Machines other half. She's on once in a while.

Well now welcome to the collective as we like to call it.  :borg:

I'm sure with that many years of experince you must have something to contribute. Since you've already looked around and know what's what no sense in sending you around the forum.Just pull up a chair and join in the conversation on any of the subjects here. Nothing is realy off topic as you've probably noticed.

Get that mug of coffee or what ever your pleasure is and join in.

Regards,
Bernd

Welcome John,

I too have noticed you before, helping out on the Chester UK site.

Same sort of format on here, helping out as much as we can, but we also get the opportunity to show what we actually get up to on other interests as well.

Almost anything goes, as long as it is legal.

I am sure your input will be invaluable to all.

Hi John,

Welcome to the collective  :borg:

Seems a few already know you from other boards. Sounds like you have a varying hobby structure like the rest of us. Looking forward to seeing some of your stuff.
