Hidy Ho good nieghbor
« on: July 16, 2009, 07:40:10 PM »
Hello, I'm Todd. I found this place like many others, a you tube video. I have an Atlas 618 and an Enco 9X20. The 618 is being fixed up for service again. I am new to this and learning something new every day.

Hi Todd

Welcome to the collective :borg:

Worry not about being new... The learning process will follow you until the end. Please speak up, ask questions and make suggestions. So, what are you into?

Thanks,
I am into hot rods and would like to use the lathe to make some art-deco looking knobs for my 1949 chevy pickup. Also want to make punches, drifts, hammers and other useful tools for myself and to give as gifts.

Have a look at some of Ralph's stuff  (Divided He ad), particularly his ball turner Todd, it might prove useful
