This is a very good beginners book, when one needs the simple looking eye candy to get one over some of the hurdles when starting out in metal jewelry work.
Divided into 6 sections 4 chapters, and 2 additional info sections. Filled with clear, bright close up photos of the item being discussed and not of the bench area. I do hate it when they seem more interested in photographing the area surrounding the work item. Rather than getting a macro lens and showing the item. You don't have that problem with this book.

    * Planning your workshop
    * Designing your projects
    * Basic Techniques
    * Advanced techniques
    * Technical information
    * Glossary

Since this is an instructional book, she deals with only using one material and that is silver throughout. You can do any of the techniques with copper,brass or nickel silver for practice. As the annealing and soldering temps will have to be adjusted. But no worries as they are in the tech info section.
In the workshop section, she discusses the basic needs of metal working jewelry, along with the most essential tools you need to get started. showing what kind of work area one needs to adjust for their own style,funds and room available.
A very short section on design, ways of looking at things and transforming them into pieces of jewelry.
The basic section covers the basic procedures that you will need to become accomplished at in metalworking, whether it is for jewelry or other projects using sheet, wire, tube and rod goods. There are also 2 step/step projects.
The Advanced section expands on the descriptions in a broader way. Of techniques that need detailed info. She also recommends further reading on the techniques in Oppi's Metal Techniques for Craftsmen.(reviewed toward the beginning of this thread)
Also covering the specialist tools and equipment needed for them.
Finally finishing up with a short section on dealing with gold and its working needs.
Galleries of work are included, but not overpowering the scope of the book, as a how do I get started!
"The internet just a figment, of my imagination!'

 There are only 3 things I can't do!"
Raise the Dead!
        Walk on water!
                 Fix a broken heart!
and I'm working on the first two!
