Hi all Madmodders,

I found this site via HMEM and have spent far too many hours at work reading the threads.

A little about me, am very much a newbie and will remain so no doubt for some time to come.
I am in the process of upgrading the workshop ready for metal work, as its currently set-up for model boat making.  part of this will be the acquisitions of tools and tooling,  looking through the workshop section it looks like i will be needing far more storage as a priority.

regards
Ian

Welcome to the collective Ian.  :borg:

Into boat making huh? What kind? The model or real boats?

I'm in the process of building an RC airboat. More in the Radio Control Models section of the forum.

This place will give you  :proj: but it's a lot of fun.  :nrocks:  :nrocks:

Hi,

thank you for the welcome, the boats have historically been RC warships of various kinds.  Going forwards I am thinking of going into steam ships of various types.  However I am also interested in making miniature engines of various types from steam to IC.

I will post pictures of my apprentice pieces in the gallery and maybe embarrass my workshop  :( in the relevant area.
