Brian May style treble boost
« on: June 08, 2008, 01:17:26 AM »
Over the next week or so, I am going to make my brother in-law a birthday present. You may remember the Practice Amp I made for him last Christmas. Him being the guitarnut that he is, I am going for a treble boost for him. This particular one is supposed to mimic (not quite) the sound Brian May (from Queen) uses a lot.

He is a classic kind of rocker, so this maybe something he likes.

I will document as I go... from case to circuit.

Nah. I started it but ended up scraping it due to the new job (yeah, the one I just got laid off from).

I am going to restart making it now as a Christmas present instead. I spent the day cleaning the shop and re-organizing. I also started taking measurements for my ball turner. I hope to start this one in a few weeks.

Well I await the pedal and have a few bits on the ball turner you may like... Some of them are easily visible in my post.... Heights etc.

Gutted about your Job.... Any luck with the new ones yet?
