Gasoline/oxygen cutting torches
« on: June 02, 2008, 06:47:44 AM »
Here is something new in the way of cutting torches, At least new to most of the welding community. It is becoming the #1 preferred rescue torch by the Firedepts and home land security. Take a look at the vid's dragging the light torch thru a pan of sand is impressive in it self ;D

They are still peddling those things?

The Gasoline/Oxygen gas axes have been around for quite a while.  Think of an old gasoline blow torch on steroids.

These are old news in the welding/fabrication industry and have never worked out as promoted.  It appears that they have " WOWED" a bunch of government purchasing agents that wouldn't know a cutting torch from a shoebox.   :'(
