Hello from ZummerZett
« on: December 28, 2009, 03:49:52 AM »
A quick hello from wonderful Somerset, where the sun always shines and it's always summer.

I am told that my hobby is collecting hobbies, I have no idea what is meant by that, as when I'm not messing about with horses, I tinker with model steam boats and electric helicopters (which I fly very badly) and when it's warm and sunny (which is every day in ZummerZett) I can occasionally be found 'kickin up the dust' on my Buell Thunderbolt S3, or tinkering with it afterwards. I also have a Triumph T140V, which is in teeny tiny pieces and which I have been promising to rebuild for the past 17 years. Can't seem to find the time for it somehow.

Hi Neil

Welcome to the collective  :borg:  (ha! got in first!  :) )

You certainly sound like a  :proj: sufferer!?  There is no known cure you know?

Oh and about the compulsory pictures thing.
Not entirely true.... videos are required to!! If we don't see what you're up to you might get a lot of these....  :wack:  :poke:  :whip:
(Disclaimer...... that's a joke by the way.... Some sensitivity training may be required as we all seem to have wicked somewhat odd ball senses of humour!!!!    :nrocks:)

So where exactly is this Zuny place ZummerZett then?? Not this British isle surely!!?   It's bloody cold and miserable up here in Wales!!!  ::)

Have fun, don't forget to show and tell    :worthless:

Ralph, it ALWAYS raining in Wales.

We have a saying here in ZummerZett, at least those of us who live by the banks of the beautiful Bristol Channel (where the water is clean and blue and dolphins frolic with mermaids), if you can see Wales, it's about to rain and if you can't, its raining.

Trevor, nice bit of the country to be in, Deben has the cream teas and ice cream, ZummerZett has the....ZIDER

Welcome to the collective Neil.  :borg:

Interesting intro, "hobby is collecting hobbies". Sometimes I feel like that's what I'm doing. Trouble is I never get anything done in one hooby before I collect another. I think to many of these have done it. :wack:

Welcome Neil

You're right about the sun in Somerset, walked out into the garden on Christmas day and fell on my ar$e on the ice, nice sunny day though...

Mark,
it must have been the heat that knocked you over, as it's always the middle of summer in Somerset.
