Acme thread gage/gauge
« on: January 25, 2010, 09:06:10 AM »
Hello this is mainly addressed to States side members but if a UK member can help please do.
I have tried to purchase one of these,
new or secondhand. they are not available in the UK as far as I can see.
http://www.amazon.com/Gages-Acme-Thread-Gage/dp/B00077KKCO
USA suppliers will not send without a zip code the UK do not have zip codes.
I can pay in US dollars via paypal.
any thoughts would be appreciated.
Many thanks
Trevor

Trevor,

Here's one place to check Enco - Acme Thread Gage.

Here's another McMaster Carr - Acme Thread Gage

And here's still another MSC Direct - Acme Thread Gage

As you can see the price varies. Good luck.

You can get them in the UK from J&L

Best to use their virtual catalogue, you want page 777

Many thanks for the reply Bernd. I was not able to get any state side suppler to give a post rate they all said no export.
However Jason you have solved it for me, I have had an account with them for years and do not recall ever seeing it in their catalog, and you find it on their site many thanks problem solved.
