Hi from the St. louis area...
« on: April 19, 2010, 01:18:23 PM »
Greetings all,
I am a tool junky and a hot rodder.  I have been a tinkerer and a builder for lots of years (ttttoooooo many...LOL).
I have an old Atlas lathe and an affinity for older tools:http://glennsplace.com/tools.htm
My current projects include putting a '50 GMC pickup on an S-10 chassis (http://glennsplace.com/fifty_chevy.htm) and converting a '55 Mercury 4 door wagon into a 2-door sedan delivery: http://glennsplace.com/55_merc.htm.
I am also an N-scale model railroader.

Later!

Hi Glenn

Welcome to the collective :borg:

I like your site, you certainly are a sufferer of  :proj:

So when's the final pic's of the "Rat Rod"??

I like the humour section.... Well most of it anyway, not too sure about the hotdog???  :bugeye:

Don't be afraid to post bits about the cars etc, it's certainly modding, and I'll read them

Ralph.

Oh.... your favourite web pages list is out of date   :mmr:   :headbang:

Definitely post the rods up for us to see! My wife has been after me to get an old Merc and do a chop and channel. She is dying for a 'gangster car'.

Welcome to the collective :borg:

Eric

PS... love the rat rod!

Welcome to the collective Glenn.  :borg:

I'm into HO, O and live steam. Like cars too, but got to many things going now so I just admire the cars.  :headbang:

Took a quick look at your site, nice. I'll have to go back when I have more time.

Glenn

Welcome to MadModder Glen. I can see by the link that you posted that you keep yourself quite busy in the shop. I like that 50 GMC project. That will be nice when finished.

Cheers
