Well why not, everyone else seems to be making them  :D



and here's a sample on a 6mm rod just to see if it worked.



the first ball made properly will be the one on the handle.

mind you, I think I'll use the collet chuck when using this tool, it comes perilously close to the chuck jaws :scratch:

Double tipped too.... Most enjoyable shapes to be made IMHO.


Yup, got to watch those jaws when doing work close in. I always turn the chuck by hand with the tool in it's extreme positions to make sure it is safe..... Learned from experience  :wack:



Don't be stingy with the photo's of the finished article and bits you make....  We all likes piccys  :)

I started working on one yesterday, I need to make a base that will mount to the compound of my Atlas/Craftsman so I can have enough room to make some big knobs..
