Hello Everyone
« on: June 04, 2010, 07:02:27 PM »
My name is Steve,
I belong to the Taig owners club with my 2 Taig CNC mills and my Taig lathe, I recently picked up what appears to be a 1936-37 Craftsman 12" lathe and a Rutland manual mill, I have enjoyed reading a lot of the post on this site and decided that I would like to join.

Look forward to chating with you guys,

Steve W.

Hi Steve..... Welcome to the collective  :borg:

Don't be shy with the piccys of your stuff, tools and works all in their correct topic areas of course.... don't want to fill this one with all the pic's

My first lathe was a Peatol lathe.... British for Taig??  I can't say as I use it much any more since I got the bigger 9x20. But it is a nice smooth little machine  :)

Glad to hear your enjoying yourself.... Wouldn't even be half as good if we didn't   :ddb:

Hi Steve

Welcome to MadModders. Sounds like you have enough equipment for a nice start in your shop.  :D

If you have any questions, feel free to ask as there is always someone around to answer or at least give an opinion.

Cheers

Thanks for the welcome everyone!

Eric,
It seems like I am always making tools with my CNC machines, I have made a nice power bus that I have a patent pending on, it is for Harleys or anything that uses low voltage and needs multiple power taps so they don't have to keep on going back to the battery every time they add a radio or radar detector or lights. I noticed that Dean is on this site to, I made his version of the screw less vise and some tool holders for my A2Z quick change tool post, I have also made a bunch of Mods for my Taig lathe. When I get some extra time I will post some of the pictures of things I have made. What kid of treasures have you been making with your equipment?

Cheers,

Steve W.
